A night of fun! Your $30 ticket gives you complimentary bubbles on arrival and $1,000,000 in Casino funny money. Try your hand at Roulette, Crown & Anchor, Heads & Tails and Blackjack. Do you spend all of your funny money on one game, or do you ration what you spend? There will be an onsite Casino Bank where you can buy extra millions, if needed. 2 auctions on the night, 1 where you bid using your casino money and the other with the real deal dosh. Guest professional auctioneer from Christchurch will run both autions.

This night is for everyone, and the dress code is really simple - dress in what you feel comfortable, having fun is the aim of the night.

Supper is included in the ticket price and a cash bar will be operating.

Saturday is the big Rock and Hop Gala Day, with the 2025 event attracting more then 1000 vehicles, 120 stalls and 25,000 people. This is our huge nostalgia festival where the atmosphere is fantastic, with lots of people dressed in their best '50s, "60s and '70s clothes, the music is pumping, the stalls are great, the dance floor is rocking and everyone is having a good time.

The cars, caravans and motorbikes are all on display and look great lined up on the grass. Take your time to have a look at the amazing array of vehicles from vintage, classic and muscle cars right through to modern. This really is a celebration of motor vehicles over the years.  Anyone who loves their vehicle is welcome to enter and celebrate motoring with us.

The stalls are selling everything from clothing, cushions, food, jewellery, nostalgia items and much more. We have a bar area where you can sit back, have a drink and take in all that is going on up on the stage, and there is plenty. The Best Dressed Competition is very popular and the entrants really take pride in their amazing outfits. You need to enter on line as no registrations will be taken on the day.

 We have plenty of competitions going on to keep you entertained, so get along and get yourself entered to win all sorts of fantastic prizes from our various sponsors. Make sure you get your ticket in our $10,000 lucky ticket raffle too, available from the Raffle tent inside the entertainment area.

Finally of course we have the Show and Shine Competition Winners Parade. This is the highlight for all contestants and public alike. All of the vehicles which have won a prize for their sections are paraded through the crowd and are then lined up for all to view.  Don't forget to vote for your Participants Choice or Public Choice winners. You can do this at the Information Tent before 1.30pm.

Public entrance to the Show and Shine Gala Day is a donation to our Hospice so please give generously. Public entrance is open from 10am to 4pm.
