Saturday is the big Rock and Hop Gala Day, with the last
event attracting more than 1000 vehicles, more than 100 stalls and around 25,000 people. This is our huge nostalgia festival where the atmosphere is fantastic, with lots of people dressed in their best '50s, '60s and 70s' clothes. The music is pumping, the stalls are great, the dance floor is rocking and everyone is having a good time.

The cars, caravans and motorbikes are all on display and look great lined up on the grass. Take your time to have a look at the amazing array of vehicles from vintage, classic and muscle cars right through to modern. This really is a celebration of motor vehicles over the years, with roughly $30million worth of cars on display.

The stalls sell everything from clothing, cushions, food, jewellery, nostalgia items and much more. 

We have a bar area where you can sit back, have a drink and take in all that is going on up on the stage, and there is plenty. 

The Best Dressed Competition is very popular and the entrants really take pride in their amazing outfits. There is a Kids Scavenger Hunt for the younger ones with a very good prize sponsored by LB Outfitters up for grabs. Get your entry forms from the Scavenger Hunt tent inside the Entertaiment area.

Make sure you get your ticket in our $10,000 lucky ticket raffle too, from either the Raffle tent inside the entertainment area or one of our roving sellers. It's drawn live on the main stage at 3.50pm.

Don't forget to vote for your participants choice or public choice winners. You will receive an entry form at all entrances and with you registration pack if you are a registered vehicle. Drop this completed entry into the Information Tent before 1.30pm.

Finally, of course we have the Show and Shine Car Competition Winners Parade. This is the highlight for all contestants and public alike. All of the prize-winning vehicles are paraded through the crowd and are then lined up for all to view.  Make sure to get a seat inside the entertainment area for this much awaited parade, kicks off at 3.15pm.

Public entrance to the Show and Shine Gala Day is a donation to our Hospice so please give generously. This is Hospice's main fundraiser for the year.

Public entrance is open from 10am to 4pm.
