Get ready for a day of adventure, discovery, and friendly competition as you cruise your way around Timaru in
Petrol, Poker & Puzzles.
Follow the route to a series of exciting destinations, where you'll tackle challenges, answer questions, and
draw a playing card at each stop to build your winning poker hand. It's a fantastic excuse to hit the road, explore some local gems, and enjoy plenty of laughs along the way.
A highlight of the day is lunch at the incredible Kyle Park Transport Museum. If you've never visited before, you're in for a real treat! Step back in time and explore an amazing collection showcasing the evolution of transport, from horse-drawn implements and powerful steam traction engines to vintage trucks, tractors, fire engines, ambulances, and much more. You'll be captivated by the stories, history, and machinery on display, and may find yourself wanting to spend the entire afternoon there!
Whether you're in it for the puzzles, the poker hand, the petrol-powered treasures, or simply a great day out with friends, this event promises something for everyone.
Your $35 entry fee gives you entry to the event and 1 x Poker sheet. Extra Poker sheets can be purchased on our ticketing site or from our team on the day.
The winners of this fun-filled adventure will be announced at the Gala Day Prizegiving.

Best Poker Hand
Best Dressed Team - this will be decided by a Peoples Choice vote at the Gala Day. Teams will be photographed at the start of the Poker, Petrol and Puzzles event and photos displayed outside the information tent at the Gala Day. Drop your vote for the best team in the voting box provided.
