What is the Caroline Bay Rock and Hop?
The Caroline Bay Rock and Hop is organised by The Hospice South Canterbury and is a Show for all cars, caravans and motorbikes from modern to vintage, from classic to muscle, from Japanese to English this show is for everyone. Along with the show there is a Nostalgia theme that celebrates the best of the 50’s & 60’s. Everyone is encouraged to dress in the 50’s and 60’s style and have a celebration with us.
When is the Caroline Bay rock and Hop?
The Rock and Hop will be on every third weekend in March, the next event is 16th to the 18th March 2018
Where is the Caroline Bay rock and Hop?
The Rock and Hop is held in the lovely town of Timaru in South Canterbury, down at the “Jewel in the Crown” Caroline Bay.
What does it cost to come to the Beach Hop?
Entry to the Gala Day is by donation to our local Hospice for the general public.
Can I apply to bring my car to the Beach Hop?
Yes – any car can apply to come to the Caroline bay Rock and Hop. Entry is by registration only and is a cost of $35. All funds raised from this event go directly to Hospice South Canterbury
So can I just turn up with my car?
Yes but we will only let you in if we still have space -event registration is limited to 1000 cars.
How do I enter my vehicle?
Car, Caravan and bike entrants need to register and pay an entry fee BEFORE they can enter the Rock and Hop. This can be done via the website www.carolinebayrockandhop.co.nz or can be done through contacting Hospice South Canterbury on 03 687 7670
Do I have to wear a motorcylcle helmet at the Caroline Bay rock and Hop?
Yes on all open roads.
