Friday morning we start our weekend with a leisurly cruise leaving from Caroline Bay to the picturesque town of Geraldine, with lots to see in this lovely part of South Canterbury you will find plenty to entertain.
Friday night we have the Main Street Cruise a highlight for many this will take you through the main streets of Timaru, Pleasant Point and Temuka, wave to the crowds and take in the awesome atmosphere. .

Saturday
Saturday is the big Rock and Hop explosion day, cars will be on display at Caroline Bay. Along with heaps of stalls, bands, food, Best Dressed Awards the final of the Wearable Parts Awards the will be plenty to entertain everyone. Saturday opens to the public from 10am.
For those who have a creative side and want a challenge, we have our Wearable parts awards. Create a fantasy outfit that evokes the Rock and Hop theme, make sure it includes atleast one car part and be in to win some amazing cash prizes. Friday night preview evening, "Cocktails and Canapes" will be held in the Bay Hall from 8pm and the final will be held on the catwalk on the Gala Day.

Sunday
Join us back down the bay for breakfast in the Marquee. Straight after breakfast we will have the "Timaru Motors Mustang Madness" competition draw. Then we take a leisurley cruise to Oamaru via Waimate.

Rock & Roll
Come along and add to our Rock and Roll theme. We have great "workshops" for dancers of all levels to have a go, even the kids.

On behalf of the people of South Canterbury I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to our fantastic city and its surrounds.
The Caroline Bay Rock and Hop has established itself as a must go South Island event, I’m sure you will all have a wonderful time and want to return again next year. We have some great things in store, from the main street cruise, the Gala Day and then of course the rock and roll party on the Saturday night and much more.
For those of you who enjoy some shopping Caroline Bay will be full of stalls with plenty to eat, drink and take in. If you would like something more our town centre is only 5 minutes stroll away where you will find many shops from the larger Ballantynes to smaller boutiques.
While you are in our area why not take some time out to enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants, cafés , walks and amazing scenery that we have in beautiful South Canterbury.
